After a long wait, the globally popular digital payment service ‘Google Pay’ is officially set to launch in Bangladesh, according to advisor Asif Mahmud.
Within the next month, the service will begin its operations in the country’s digital transaction ecosystem. With this launch, smartphone users in Bangladesh will be able to use their devices as a full-fledged digital wallet. As a result, the need to carry separate debit or credit cards will be significantly reduced.
